👾 Monsters and the Pet Dungeon

How to bonk wandering monsters for coins and how far the Pet Dungeon can take you.

Grumpy monsters roam Hatch Island all the time, and the Pet Dungeon is a climb through floors of grumpy pets. Both pay coins, tickets and 💎 Shards, and nobody can lose anything in either.

👾 Wandering monsters

At least 5 monsters walk around Hatch Island at any time (one more per 3 players, up to 9). When one pops, a new one comes within seconds.

You're safe from them:

• In the plaza
• Inside your own Nest
• Before you've bought your first egg

They only notice you within 18 studs and give up if you step back past 24.

Fighting one is easy. Walk within 24 studs and with 🤖 AUTO on you hit it by yourself. Or use ⚔️ ATTACK! Your following pets and your ride strike anything within 34 studs too, even while you stand inside your Nest. Monster HP follows how hard the players on the island hit.

Everyone who hit a monster gets the full reward when it pops, so team up!

Monster types

Each one also rolls how tough it is. That changes its HP and multiplies its reward:

Brutal monsters and Giants also give +1 💎 LIMITED Shard, plus one try at a LIMITED pet: worth 25 egg tries from a Brutal monster and 15 from a Giant.

Their moves

Every move shows a warning shape on the ground first. Getting hit only knocks you about.

• Slam: a ring around the monster. Get out.
• Charge: it dashes along a line. Step aside.
• Goo: lobbed at where you stand. It slows you for 3 seconds.
• Summon: a Giant calls two small ones.

👾 MONSTER INVASION

This is a surge that lasts 60 seconds: up to 16 monsters at once, with a new one every 1.2 seconds. It's a good moment for coins and Shards. It can come up as a surprise event, and any player can treat the whole server to one for 150 🔥 in 🎟️ Prizes → 🎉 SERVER.

🗝️ The Pet Dungeon

Grumpy shadow pets have taken over a crystal temple. You cheer them up by BONKing them, and they run off happy.

Getting in: tap 🎮 GAMES → 🗝️ Pet Dungeon, or walk through the purple gate on the Sky Deck.

Teams: when someone starts a run, others in the server have 15 seconds to tap 🗝️ JOIN. Up to 6 players can go together, or go alone. If the dungeon is full, try again in a minute.

How a run works

• Every run starts on floor 1. There are 100 floors.
• Clear all the grumpy pets to finish a floor. You get 4 seconds before the next one.
• You have 5 ❤️. At 0 you watch from the balcony until the floor ends, then come back with 2 ❤️.
• The run ends when everyone is down or has left (LEAVE).

Every floor gets harder:

• Grumpy pets get 16% more HP per floor.
• There are 4 on floor 1, one more per floor (up to 14), plus one per extra player.
• More players also means more HP per grumpy pet (x2.9 with 6 players).
• Every 5th floor has a big Grumpy King with 12x the HP.

How you hit:

• Your punch (⚔️ ATTACK!) does 6 x (1 + 0.25 per rebirth) and reaches 16 studs.
• Your following pets zap the nearest grumpy pet every 0.8 seconds, within 34 studs of you.
• Your 🌟 SKILL and 💥 ULTIMATE work here too (riding and ULTIMATE).

Dungeon rewards

Everyone in the run gets these for every floor the group clears, and you keep them even if the run ends later.

So floor 4 pays 50 seconds of income, floor 25 pays 125 and floor 100 pays 250. Your best floor is saved.

Tips

• Pick your strongest followers first: 🐾 PETS → ⚔️ TEAM → ⚡ AUTO. In the dungeon they do most of the work.
• Do one run a day at least for the 3 free 🎲.
• Aim to pass floors in fives: the 5th, 10th, 15th and so on pay the chests and Shards.
• Fish for 💀 Brutal monsters and Giants when you want 💎 Shards for ⭐ AWAKEN.
• If you get knocked down, don't leave. You're back on the next floor if a friend survives.
