✏️ Build Mode and decorating
How to buy decorations, paints and themes, place them in Build Mode, and show off your LIMITED pets on trophy stands.
Make your Nest look like nobody else's. Everything you place is saved and comes with you to whichever Nest you get, and other players can see it.
Tap 🎨 DECOR to open the 🎨 Decorate window. It has 🪴 Decorations, 🎨 Colours and 📒 Stickers.
🪴 Decorations
There are 84 decorations: 70 for coins and 14 exclusive ones. Each card shows its tier: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary or Mythic.
- Each purchase gives you one more copy to place.
- ✨ in a name means it gives light.
- 🪑 means you can sit on it, using its 🪑 Sit prompt.
- Fancier tiers sparkle.
✏️ Build Mode
Stand on your own Nest area and tap ✏️ BUILD MODE in the Decorations tab. The play buttons step aside and a tray appears at the bottom, with a 🌸 decorations tab and a 📒 stickers tab.
- Tap an item in the tray.
- Tap your Nest to place it. A green box means OK, red means not allowed.
- Tap a placed decoration to select it again.
- Tap ✔ DONE when you are finished.
Dragging moves the camera. A short tap places the item.

Removing an item never loses it. It goes back in the tray so you can place it again.
Where you can build
You can build in the house, on Floor 2, on the front lawn, in the yard behind and beside the house, on the path and in the 🌸 Sky Garden. A small area by the launch pad stays clear.
- Up to 100 decorations and 80 stickers can be placed.
- Decorations stand on upward-facing surfaces such as floors, tables and roofs.
- Stickers stick to any surface, walls too.
Stickers are found around the map. Touch one to collect it. Each one you find is one more to stick on. See Collectables.
🎨 Colours
Open 🎨 Colours to choose 🎨 Themes, 🧱 Walls, 🟫 Floors, ✨ Trim and 🌸 Garden.
- Themes: Original (free), Minty, Sky Blue, Sunny, Berry Pop, Lavender Dream, Candy Stripe, Ice Palace, Volcano, Royal Gold and Galaxy.
- Paints: 20 for walls, 19 for floors, 14 for trim and 15 for the garden, in materials like wood, brick, marble, glass and neon. Most are for coins. Floor paint changes the planks only, so rugs and steps keep their look.
You buy each one once and keep it forever. A paint you pick beats the theme for that part of the Nest. Pick Theme colour to go back.
How prices work
Prices for themes, paints and decorations can grow as you open new worlds. You pay whichever is larger:
- the item's listed price, or
- your furthest world's basic egg price, multiplied by the item's tier.

So the same item can show a different price for you and your friend. The card always shows your price.
Exclusive pieces
These can't be bought with coins. Their button says where they come from:
- 🎁 STARTER and 👑 ROYAL: Robux packs. See Shop.
- 🌟 PREMIUM: Star Pass PREMIUM.
- 🏆 LIMITED: the Trophy Stand (below).
- 🏮 FESTIVAL: the Loy Krathong bundle, on sale only during Loy Krathong, November 10 to 30.
- 🎄 FESTIVAL: the Christmas bundle, on sale only from December 10 to January 5.
Festival pieces are hidden out of season unless you own them. If you own them, you keep them. See Seasons.
🏛️ Trophy stands
You get one free stand for each LIMITED pet you own, up to 10. You keep a stand even if the pet later leaves you.
- Show a pet: 🐾 PETS → the pet's card → 🏛️ SHOW. Your first stand appears by your gate.
- Take it off: 🏛️ DOWN takes the pet down and puts its stand away.
- Move a stand: walk up to it and tap ✏️ MOVE. Build Mode opens with the stand picked up.
Only LIMITED and TIER 2 pets go on stands, one per stand. A TIER 2 pet dresses up its stand with an obsidian base, spires, a turning halo and a purple plaque. A pet on a stand can't be traded or given away.
Tips
- Buy the decorations you want before opening a new world, since a new world can raise prices.
- Make a big piece small, or a small one big. The ➕ ➖ tools go from 0.5x to 2.2x.
- Put things on tables and roofs too. Any upward-facing surface works.
- Pick a theme first, then paint only the part you want to change.
- Decorate the 🌸 Sky Garden when your ground floor is full. Pets don't take any room there.
